Hairs are best accessories gifted by god and natural crown which you never want to take off. Yes, Hairs are the part of your personality. In your personal and professional life, your hairs play a pivotal role to enhance your personality.  But in today’s busy and hectic life, we hardly take care of our hairs. And whenever we get time, we prefer to go to some saloon for hair spa instead of oiling and massaging our hairs at home. And that is the reason why hair fall has become a common problem these days with increasing number of people from different age groups. Both men and women facing this problem. In order to decrease hair fall, people start experimenting with various remedies which makes this problem even worse. But proper oiling and massaging reduces many hair problems. There are probably many more benefits for oiling your hairs than you think. Oil plays an important role in order to smoothen and soften your rough hairs.

Oils are a great heat protectant. Overall, they are a great hair health booster. The benefit in most of the oils is all the fatty acids, which replace the lipids in your hair when it starts to get really fine. Right before it splits, that means there is nothing holding it together, and all those lipids are gone so you need to replace them. Different oils have different benefits, so you should target them according to your needs. If you have very dry or damaged hair, you want something heavier like a coconut oil, and then dry hair is super absorbent for coconut oil. Infect there is nothing more moisturizing for the hairs than just straight coconut oil. Use almond, jojoba, coconut, sesame, mustard, cocoa butter oils for the dry hair type. For normal Hairs, you can use jojoba, almond and amla oils. Oily Hairs looks greasy which is generally because of over production of sebum by the sebaceous glands. So the kind of oil that is required should be able to restore the sebaceous glands to normal. Apply olive, sesame, and jojoba oils if your hair is of this type. For dandruff Hairs essential oils can be very effective in minimizing or halting this problem. The best essential oil for treating dandruff is tea-tree oil. You could also try out bhringarajoil, know how it increases hair growth here.

Oiling hairs always recommended as a blanket solution for everything from lifeless tresses and damaged ends to stress relief.  All of us probably received this bit of hair advice from a lot of people including our mothers, grandmothers or doctors. Oiling hair has a multi-dimensional effect as it helps by increasing the tensile strength of the hair and prevents breakage. The oil by coating the hair forms a protective layer for the hair shaft.

Beyond just oiling your hairs, its massaging technique also matters a lot. Proper massaging of hairs increases or stimulates of the circulation of blood to the scalp. It helps to bring the essential nutrients to your scalp, which then works by nourishing the hair. It also acts like a stress buster which is also one of the causes of hair fall. That means proper oiling and right massaging technique helps in prevention of hair fall.

But there are few drawbacks of excessive oiling as well. We should never put natural oil directly on hairs because our scalp has a natural pH level that is regulated by the body’s natural production of oil. And if you put oil directly on the scalp, it blocks the follicles of scalp and reduces the pH level. Hair loss is directly linked to the Ph level of your scalp. So if your hair is dry or overly oily, you will experience more hair loss. Putting extra oil to the scalp also messes with the natural oil and water balance on the scalp. If you put extra oil on it your body will stop producing natural oil.

But if we conclude, head massage is a best practice passed on from generations, and many of us still make it a weekly ritual to oil our hair before we wash it. Oiling the hair always prevent it from premature greying, strengthen its roots and massaging the pressure points also relieves stress.
